Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones, born September 3, 1976 in the United States is an actor. The actress is famous for her soap opera roles as Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) and Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). She also played Daphne, a recurring character in season two of HBO's series True Blood. Ashley Jones obtained a Bachelor of Human Learning (K-8) from University of Tennessee at Martin, in 1997. She began her teaching career at Maury County teaching Reading to Kindergarten and 1st grade. She got married in 1998 to her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and relocated into Thompsons Station. Her first teaching job was with Bethesda Elementary, where she taught fourth grade. In 1999 & 2000 she was able to keep teaching, while completing her Master of Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2000, she retired from teaching after the birth of their youngest son Baylor. Ashley has served for 15 years in her community, church as well as children. Ashley has led the Preschool Ministry for Thompson Station Church in various positions for over 13 years. When Ashley was at home with her family, she spent three years homeschooling. Ashley taught History at her home school tutoring during the years of school at home. She loved homeschooling and being with her children God evidently showed her family the need to return full-time school. Brent and Ashley are parents to five children. Silas Eliza and Cruz are all at GCA. Baylor is a GCA grad who plays baseball. He is a student at the UT-Martin. Callan also a GCA graduated, goes to Western Kentucky University. The family is busy, and they love fishing, hunting and encouraging one another to succeed in their sports and other activities.
