Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to help supplement her income. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox performed flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. However, she left prior to her group being requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. In this band, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they created The Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox started work for Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous achievement. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I'm Letting You go... is the soundtrack to her exhibit of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25, 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by her fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own, plus one compilation album at her disposal.
